Presenter Details

Teresa Callow

Teresa Callow is an experienced and highly skilled professional in the field of strategy, leadership, OD and change. Currently serving as the GM People & Culture at The New Zealand Merino Company Limited, Teresa plays a crucial role in driving the company’s strategy and fostering a positive people-centred environment where people are driven by a shared sense of purpose. With an educational background that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Distinction from the University of Canterbury and a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology, Teresa combines her deep theoretical knowledge with practical experience to deliver impactful and sustainable solutions that enable people to thrive.

Karen Meredith

Karen is a proud HR professional and certified Executive Coach - a true HR generalist with key strengths in human-centered organisational design and reshape, strategy development, change management, workplace sustainability measures, employee relations, and stakeholder engagement. Karen is known for being a genuine people partner and a hands-on intuitive leader. She loves HR and brings energy, compassion, creativity and professionalism to every organisation she engages with. Karen founded the outsourced HR agency, PeopleEX, to bring her people-centric HR approach to NZ businesses. Her favourite thing is to work in partnership with clients and their people to stimulate better business growth, better social and environmental outcomes, and better people and customer experiences. People for Better is why PeopleEX exists. Qualifications: Bachelor in Management and a Masters in Human Resource Management from the University of Technology Sydney, Business Sustainability Management from the University of Cambridge, Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Emotional Culture Deck practitioner and an Accredited Executive Coach through the International Coaching Community (ICC).

Craig Binney

Craig Binney is Head of People and Culture at Scenic Hotel Group, with over twenty years spent in the hotel sector and the last decade in the People and Culture space. Craig has a passion for sustainability, developing teams, creating positive work environments, and leveraging technology to create seamless experiences. Sitting on the hospitality advisory boards of Pacific International Hotel Management School and the Ara Institute, Craig is always happy to share his experiences to help shape the talent of tomorrow.
