Topic: Empowering people through digital knowledge
BNZ is on a mission to empower its people, customers and communities with digital knowledge. In 2017 they launched the BNZ Digital Guru programme, an initiative designed to create passionate, digitally savvy BNZers. Since then it has won a number of awards including this year’s NZ HR Learning & Development Capability Award. Made up of a blend of learning modules, ongoing engagement, and development opportunities, the Digital Guru programme is much more than the learning components curated for it. Victoria is here to share what makes the BNZ Digital Guru programme so successful, their learnings along the way and their vision for the future of the programme.
As Head of Digital Adoption at BNZ, Victoria does more than just encourage customers onto BNZ Digital channels. She is passionate about BNZ customers getting real value through digital adoption and uplifting digital literacy across BNZ staff, customers and communities. One of the key enablers for this being the award winning BNZ Digital Guru programme. With over ten years of experience at BNZ, Victoria has been instrumental in the adoption of Agile, Lean and Product Management at the bank and is a real advocate for delivering value through exploration, experimentation and validated learning.
Victoria moved to NZ from the UK fifteen years ago with a couple of suitcases and has accumulated a lot more baggage since then, including three children, a house, boat and caravan. When she isn’t working, you’ll often find Victoria planning her next holiday over a nice glass of Rose.
